We need expert and stakeholder input, because regulating new and emerging technologies raises questions that require broad discussion. The SIENNA project would like to invite join our webinars on 17 June 2020 to discuss how to enhance the legal frameworks for human genomics, human enhancement, artificial intelligence and robotics technologies. Depending on your area of interest, you can join one, two or all of them!

In the webinars, we will will discuss potential changes needed to improve the legal frameworks for the respective technology areas at the international, EU and/or national level. What are the key human rights and social impacts of human enhancement technologies that should be addressed by regulation? What changes in the legal frameworks are needed to make development and use of these technologies compliant with human rights and societal values? What are the main difficulties in improving the legal frameworks?
